ARE THERE ANY TENANT FEES OR DEPOSITS REQUIRED TO SECURE A PROPERTY

There are no tenant fees charged to secure a property, but you would be expected to complete a landlord credit check which you can do online for around £30. The deposit is 1 weeks rent and there may be a security deposit for damage if required by the landlord, but not in all cases

DO I REQUIRE A VALID EPC TO RENT MY PROPERTY OR CAN THIS BE COMPLETED AFTER THE NEW TENANT MOVES IN

All landlords are required to provide a valid EPC before a new tenant moves into a property. As of April 1st 2018 this will apply to all new domestic tenancies and commercial leases
