MAKING A DIFFERENCE

If you are under the threat of homelessness or are already homeless, Illustrious Lettings will provide you with advise and support including a set amount of free housing advice to try and assist you to remain sustainable in your current home or we will try to assist you in finding alternative accommodation. This can be achieved by the following methods

• Mediating with your landlord regarding housing issues such as rent arrears and arranging a suitable payment plan.

• Contacting other landlords and completing a property pool application to increase your chances of securing a property

• Mediating with landlords regarding repairs that are affecting the health or living conditions.

• Illustrious Lettings can assist with housing benefit and council tax  applications to ensure your rent is paid on time. If you experience issues managing your money we can arrange for your rent to be paid direct to your landlord.

• If you have been served with Notice Seeking Possession, Illustrious Lettings can advise on the process and mediate with your landlord.
